Introduction

☞Problems and status of water treatment in China

-China is facing serious water pollution problems due to its rapid economic growth.
 This is caused mainly because of absence of prevention and confrontation, especially     

  there are not enough environmental infrastructure facilities.

-Only 40% of 171 industrial complexes have wastewater treatment facilities (2009). 90%
of urban sewage and 70-80% of industrial wastewater are discharged without treatment process.

Technology Scope

• Unit process design for field application by leachate analysis
• Establishment of operation method for leachate treatment
• Establishment of operation method for change of leachate characteristics

Proposed technology is consisting of Sequencing batch reactor (SBR) and Membrane
contactor (MC). This technology has highly flexibility and treatment efficiency.
